Regenex has been presented with a prestigious gold-standard award, putting us among the UK’s greenest businesses and organisations.

We knew we had won an International Green Apple Environment Award for Environmental Best Practice – and it’s now been announced that we have been rated GOLD, for our innovative processes that prolong the life of commercial linen.

Results were revealed at a ceremony in London today – as we head towards the end of the year, and our target to process 1,000 tonnes of hospitality and healthcare linen by then.

In recent years household names such Tesco, National Trust, Canon, Guinness, Royal Mail and Toshiba have all won Green Apple awards.

Technical director, Paul Hamilton, said: “This is fantastic news. We would have been delighted to achieve bronze or silver, but to have been rated gold is absolutely amazing!

“We are really proud to be recognised, among so many companies and organisations doing great work. We regard this high-level validation as an early Christmas present! It’s a great day for us! Our heartfelt thanks go to the organisers.”
